Jacob Shireman, a dedicated musician and piano instructor with over 30 years of experience, has been passionately immersed in the world of music since the young age of 7. Growing up, Jacob was actively involved in various musical avenues, including school and church choirs. He not only participated in these choirs but also played an instrumental role in accompanying soloists, choirs, and congregational singing, showcasing his versatile musicianship.

Holding a minor in Sacred Music from Pensacola Christian College, Jacob’s primary expertise lies in piano. His musical journey is marked by the guidance and teachings of several world-renowned musicians. Among his mentors are Lauri Wood, Mark Crawford, Daniel Nagy, Pitagoras Gonçalves, and Alberto Jaffé. Notably, Daniel Nagy and Pitagoras Gonçalves are proteges of the esteemed Daisy De Luca Jaffé, herself a student of luminaries such as Magda Talieferro, Fredriech Gulda, Richard Hauser, and Guido Agosti.

With a teaching career spanning over two decades, Jacob has imparted his knowledge of piano to a diverse range of students, from young children starting at age 6 to adults. His proficiency in both English and Spanish has enabled him to reach a wider audience, enriching his teaching experience.

Currently residing in Richmond, TX, Jacob is not only an ardent lover of music but also a dedicated educator.
